The third single by the Norwegian-Australian-Belgian Gold Coast-based trio Funboys on the omnipotent Nein brings a snaking mythical track that twists and turns the whole way through. The release is completed with three massive remixes by Kimshies, ID_UA and Dannie Fade, who delivered precious and insightful interpretations of a flawless original.
ID_UA, the author of the remix we chose to premiere, for those who are still not familiar with his work, is a Ukrainian DJ and music producer who creates a nice balanced cocktail with Indie Dance and electronic elements. His previous works can be found on labels such as Night Noise and Esthétique, besides Nein, of course.
Considered a talent to watch and acclaimed as one of the most versatile producers of the Dark Disco/Indie Dance scene, ID_UA used and abused magic – black magic, to be more accurate – in his contribution to “Sorcery”. A menacing and scary version, full of obscure synth riffs and vibrant percussive layers, skilfully and harmonically put together by the young Ukrainian artist.
