Tronik Youth (SXDNS050) is undoubtedly one of the favourite artists amid the Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene. Ask around about Sir Neil Parnell and you will just hear good – and funny – things. When he came to Frankfurt to play in one of our parties last year, the number of humorous tales he shared during our time together made us laugh like children. His whimsical personality enables him to make many a friend, and some of them were invited to be part of his forthcoming release on his almighty Nein Records. Presenting insightful remixes by Fabrizio Mammarella, Lusca and Technobeton, the single “Sarcastic Lazers” is, in our humble opinion, one of the best releases of the year so far.

While the original is a funky and groovy beauty featuring Neil toying back with acid and analogue elements, Lusca’s interpretation brings the theme to a more ghostly and shadowy world. The Mexican producer spared no efforts and creativity to provide an alluring version and keep the release in rarefied territory.
