Jorge Melgar aka BadWolf is a Toluca-based producer with solid originals/collaborations released on respected Mexican and European labels such as Controlla, Veneno, NUFF MUSIC and Emerald & Doreen Recordings. He has already appeared on our platform in a couple of premieres and in our free download series (FREEDL025) with an impressive interpretation of Giorgio Moroder’s Scarface Main Theme (you can grab your copy entirely for free on our SoundCloud, by the way – go for it, it’s a must-have).

In “Futura”, his new single – an independent and exclusive release on Bandcamp –, Mr. Wolf explores his Indie Dance with dark touches side, providing a track with a different sonority in comparison to his previous works. This time, the Mexican producer leads us into a journey through retro-futuristic sounds established by effusive pads, a strong bassline, and groovy percussive elements.
