Antenna! is the brand-new music project created by the seasoned Italian DJ and producer Andrea Bertolini. His particular attention and passion for stuff like Chicken Lips, Loose Joints, and The Emperor Machine, which have been sources of inspiration for him since day one, has generated the idea to start producing under the new moniker. Juno 106, Korg MonoPoly and SCI Pro-one are his special weapons, and disco, funk, house and psychedelic attitude are the special ingredients of his solid originals and collaborations.
The track we chose to premiere, “Laguna”, opens his forthcoming EP to be released on vinyl on the promising label Lunetta11: “A disco ballade characterized by baroque arrangements that set a real romantic mood”, taken from the release description. The funky guitar riffs, the cosmic-infused synth layers and the stark bassline Andrea put together created a must-have tune for the “space music” lovers out there.
