Two of the Swedish underground techno scene’s brightest luminaries team up for the third instalment of their promising label When Disco Goes Wrong. Since Högt I Tak (SXDNS179) and Mindbender decided to join forces and start sewing together, Sweden has been definitely put on the map of the “new” Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene. Their plethora of personal influences gave birth to an interesting concoction of sonorities, resulting in solid originals and collaborations which have been well-received by artists and people in general.

For their forthcoming release, the single “Mental Raver”, after being featured in three different outfits (“Original Remake”, “Break The Acid Mix” and “Acid Is Cool Mix”), receives a gala attire designed by London’s own machine pagan and consumerism techno maestro MAN2.0 (SXDNS081), who totally remakes the track into absolute hedonism joy. The rusty old machines screeching and squelching until an otherworldly beautiful breakdown sends Högt I Tak and Mindbender’s Mental Raver straight into space. An insightful interpretation that increased the already high quality of the release.
