Another cool label debuts on our platform, peeps: Based in Edinburgh, Fresh Take Records brings Josh Twigge-Molecey and George Protheroe working together under the alias Sonic Juncture for its forthcoming release. Hailing from Brighton and Banbury, respectively, the dynamic duo has pulled together “Time I Stare”, an eclectic EP in which the lads competently amassed their House, Electro, and Italo Disco influences. The one & only British producer Tech Support supported providing a mind-boggling remix.

“I’m Glad”, the track we were requested to review/premiere, lives up to its name and made us also extremely glad about its upbeat aura. An acid-infused breakbeat beauty with a classy saxophone layer to set the mood. The vocal hook is the icing on the cake: We recommend you sing “I’m Glad” along like a mantra. You are probably going to draw some good vibes upon yourself, something we all must be in need of at this ungodly hour.
