French powerhouse ESTHÉTIQUE Records reaches its 26th EP featuring skilled Madrid-based producer Ivan De La Rouch (FREEDL022/032) who brought some very important friends to the occasion: Mike Sacchetti (SXDNS168), as a collaborator on the track “Gravity”, the theme we chose to premiere/review, plus Dannie Fade and Man2.0 (SXDNS081), for the remix duties.

Founder of the massive Logical Records, Ivan’s latest releases can be found on Espacio Cielo, Maleante, PlayPal Music, Emerald & Doreen, and obviously on his own imprint. His previous appearance on Esthétique was in March this year with a solid remix to Javier Busto’s “Into The Darkness” EP.

His return could not be in greater style. The attire: Dark and twisted acid with shards of EBM and Italo Disco. In “Gravity”, Ivan and Mike delivered a trippy and mesmerising piece with a beautiful cosmic atmosphere delivered by the ethereal and melodic pads. The guitar riffs yield a kind of ominous and menacing message while the bouncing acid layer, well, you know, triggers the I-want-to-dance-to-this-track-in-a-packed-club-as-soon-as-possible itch.
