Berlin-based label Dizzy Tunes, specialized in Jackin’, Acid, Ghetto, and Classic House, lands for the first time on our platform with a solid release featuring a fruitful and rich partnership between acclaimed Disco duo Hard Ton (SXDNS176 as Wawashi Deejay) and label boss himself Markus Schatz aka DJ Krime. “Spank That Ass” was brought to life through three different versions (Original, House and Electro), which proves the guys were having proper fun in the studio, plus a monumental 95-BPM Acid Dub trip by DirtBox (half of Snuff Crew).
We chose the original to premiere not only because it is the fastest version (dinosaurs are famous for loving to dance to speedy tracks), but also because it is the most striking piece of the EP, especially because it is another proof of how versatile Hard Ton can be. Famous for their Disco Music/Hi-NRG-infused sonority, the Italian duo now delivers a proper old school Acid House theme, clearly influenced, of course, by DJ Krime’s passion for the genre. We honestly hope they can team up again, the outcome of this first collaboration is worth repeating! Kudos!
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Beatport page of the label.
