The German label Dance Petrol Records wraps up 2021 with “Selected Fuels”, the first instalment of their brand-new VA series. In it: Seven interesting pieces made with love by A_P_F_L & Odono, Philip Habel, Etur Usheo, Jonas Gottlieb, So.undso, Palynka, and Parallel. Expect a multi-genre compilation featuring layers soaked into Disco Music, Italo Disco, Cosmic Disco, Hi-NRG, Breakbeat, Acid, and House Music. The result of such an interesting concoction is a pack of sonorities presented through well-constructed and creative themes devoted to showcasing the production skills of the artists involved.

Palynka is the mastermind behind the track we were solicited to premiere. Hailing from Paris, the young and promising DJ and producer is a member of the collective and party series HORS-SOL and one side of S7RENS. He decided to bring some rave mood to the compilation with his beautifully built tune called… yes, “RAVE”. A non-stop emotive as hell synth lead paired with an ethereal & angelical pad topping energetic breakbeats deliver a mesmerizing cut and, undoubtedly, one the highlights of the release.
