Owner of a sonority that combines Techno with shards of EBM, Industrial, and Post-Punk plus a pinch of Latinity, Mverto Futura’s output has definitely a strong character and a fierce attitude. After appearing on some of the most important labels amid the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene such as Veneno, Controlla, Oberwave, Quixotical, and Dogs & Vultures, to name a few, the Guatemalan producer makes his debut on another powerhouse of the dark genres: Richmerch opens its doors for his “Enajenado”, a powerful EP featuring three creative originals and one spicy remix by Undefined Pattern (SXDNS197).

The remix, premiered here, by the way, brings Mr. UP boldly stripping off a pretty good deal of the Rock & percussive atmosphere of the original and replacing it with a sort of Oriental/Middle East aura. The bouncing beats and the melodic synth layer set the mood of a more fast-paced and frenzied version.
