Focusing on non-fluffy music genres such as Dark Disco, Indie Dance, Techno, and Post-Punk, Hook Up Agency kicked off its activities less than six months ago and it is apparently another Mexican platform to keep our eyes and ears on. With the interesting concept of releasing only singles, the label has been gathering a solid roster so far: Poulper & Renuna (FREEDL028), Samuel Lupian (SXDNS087), and now Tierra De Ovnis (SXDNS295), who brought some of his the-truth-is-out-there vibes to the promising label.

With well-received appearances on Duro, Rotten City, NEIN, Veneno, Sinchi, and Espacio Cielo, Jesus Cuevas aka Tierra De Ovnis has been slowly establishing his craft as one of the hottest acts amid the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene. Refined production skills plus sharp creativity set the tone of his works.

For his debut on Hook Up, Mr. Cuevas decided to present a true bass extravaganza embedded with a number of percussive elements and arpeggiated synth layers. The result is a stomping beast with a frolic but mysterious aura.
