Previously a duo, KovaX is now Andrew Kachanov flying solo. A skilled Krasnodar-based artist with a nice story to tell via his music, fueled by his passion for the dance floor. His output can be found on UNCLES MUSIC, Cafe De Anatolia LAB, VSA, and Pro Stereo Records, to name a few, presenting an interesting combination of melodic sounds and dark references. Andrew is now back on the Argentinian label, community, and event planner normtusa with his two-original parcel “Phenomenal” through which he once again explores his characteristic blend of flavours in order to deliver his vision of dance music.
Premiered here, the title track comes wrapped in a darkness-meets-groovy aura delivered by the bouncing bassline, thick synth layers, harmonious leads, spot-on percussive elements, and obscure vocal hooks. A sober but upbeat theme with peak time potential.
