Home of acclaimed artists such as Damon Jee, Theus Mago (SXDNS056), Colossio (SXDNS025), Zombies In Miami, Duncan Gray (SXDNS075/TAKEOVER002), Alex Aguayo (TAKEOVER001), Marching Machines (SXDNS276), just to name a few, the Spanish powerhouse Espacio Cielo is also the place to be for young new talents and seasoned producers who decide to venture through the Indie Dance/Dark Disco jungle – the latter is the case of Bias & Jose Diaz, two veterans of the Levantine scene who decided to join forces to recreate the sounds of the late ’80s and early ’90s on this spot-on EP: “A Life Story” comes with two upright originals and two vital remixes made with love by MAN2.0 (SXDNS081) and Parissior (SXDNS206), the label boss himself.

Brought to life in two alluring versions, Italo and Valencia Mix, the title track is definitely worth the effort of having a double staging. The one we chose to premiere keeps the upbeat aura of its counterpart but develops itself in a more emotive and melodic way. It is as if Bias & Jose Diaz were trying to infuse a little of their love for their hometown into their work – mission successfully accomplished.
